The efficacy of silicone components as de-foaming agent is well known. "CON-TROL" DF-50 is a silicon based product having excellent de-foaming property. It is a de-foamer of choice of various needs in paper making operations of pulp & Paper industry. It is compatible with various chemicals used in the papermaking and can be used safely to control foam in the system.

"CON-TROL" DF-50, the silicone based defoamer performs well in application of wide pH range specifically in acidic conditions. "CON-TROL" DF-50 is easily dispersible in water.

“CON-TROL” DF-50 should be diluted in 1:10 ratio with water for addition at points where control of foam is required.

"CON-TROL" DF-50 has ashelf life of 6 months from the date of its manufacture when stored in properly closed container away from heat and moisture.

The dosage of “CON-TROL” DF-50 normally varies between 0.1 to 0.5 kg per ton of machine production depending upon the type & nature of raw material, use of other chemicals and their quantites, circulation of backwater etc. apart from individual mill's plant variables and operating conditions, which may further influence to increase or decrease the normal dose level.

The stability of diluted solution will depend upon its strength. Diluted solutions should be consumed within 6 to 8 hours. In our endeavour to improve the product above specification can change without prior intimation.
