The ink stickies and the hotmelts carry over with pulp to form macro sticky nature which upon alum treatment coagulates and cause clogging of press felts, dryer screen and forming fabrics. Also these stick on the Press rolls surface and Calender roll surface to cause eventually sheet breaks during pressing and ultimately loss in production. In order to overcome the sheet breaks at Press and to calendars “CON-TROL” SG “2001” is developed which acts as a release aid when applied on the surface of the rolls.

This is basically disperser type of product, which is applied on the surface of the rolls to keep away dirt’s sticking to its surface. This product can work in any pH condition and can be applied on press roll surface, dryers surface and calender roll surface @ 70 gms per Meter2. A thin film forms after applying the chemical on the desired surface and it stay for nearly 24 Hours. During this period any stickies in the system or fibres and fines that generally stick on the roll surface, are not able to stick due to the thin film, which acts as a release aid.

Product “CON-TROL” SG “2501” is to be applied on the surface of the rolls or on Dryers @ 70 gms per Mtr2. It is suggested to dilute it in the ration of 1:1 with water before application. Depending upon the stickies & hotmelts developed in the system, the duration of application is specified. However in general once applied the film formed on the Rolls/Dryer surface remains effective for atleast 24 hours.
