The Hydrophilic nature of Cellulose fiber renders the paper sheet of wetting and penetration by aqueous liquid. The Cellulose fiber surface has high specific energy and the porous nature of unsized paper results in soaking or absorption of aqueous liquid very rapidly and extensively. Various chemicals are used to provide paper with considerable resistance to wetting and penetration of liquids. “CON-TROL” GLYSIN is specially formulated emulsion for Paper Sizing.

The Product is stable to Acidic pH and is compatible with Rosin size normally used in Paper Mill. The Product when used in prescribed dosage depending on Mill conditions gives excellent sizing effect with Rosin and reduces consumption of Mill Rosin/Liquid Rosin by almost 40 to 50 per cent. It also helps in improving finish and feel of Paper. It is also cost effective.

“CON-TROL” GLYSIN can be added in the Machine Chest along with Mill Rosin/Liquid Rosin directly. Product GLYSIN can be used up to 30 to 40 percent of the Rosin consumption. However, the recommended dose may slightly vary depending on the quality of Paper produced.
