Before printed paper, such as office waste and newspapers, can be recycled into high quality paper products the ink needs to be removed. Otherwise the ink is dispersed into the pulp and affects the brightness of the paper. “CONT-TROL” MEDIN is an effective deinking chemical that removes the ink by adopting the principles of Washing as well as Floatation.
Properties
“CONT-TROL” MEDIN assists in de-neutering was, loosening absorbed was from fiber and aiding in separation of wax and stickies from stock preparation and machine wet end systems. “CONT-TROL” MEDIN reduces the need to add excessive Alkali, which causes over dispersion of Ink, Wax and Stickies. Foam generated from the process carries the ink particles on to its upper surface which are then removed by Floatation and Wash process.

Application
“CON-TROL” MEDIN can be added directly in the Pulper with other Chemicals along with Waste Paper. For better distribution the chemical should be diluted in the ratio of 1:4 and then added to the Pulper. The ideal dosages are between 2 to 3 kgs per ton of Waste Paper. However, the recommended dose may vary slightly depending on the quality of Waste, Water and individual Mill system.
